Spence and Gordon examine the two biggest sports topics on their minds Tuesday afternoon in the “Split Story of the Day.”
First up: the NBA Draft on Thursday has teams around the league, top to bottom, firing up the phone lines and text messaging with trade suggestions, rumors and news. Spence and Gordon talked about all that, including its impact on the Jazz and Gordon Hayward.
Secondly: Warren Sapp made news by announcing he’s decided to donate his brain (posthumously, obviously) to science in the name of research with CTE, the brain disease that caused dementia, memory loss, and suicidal tendencies. Sapp is also launching a campaign to make the game of football safer for children and pre-teens.
