The Locked On Cougars Podcast for Tuesday, September 21, 2021
- Tuesday’s podcast (released Monday night) began where most in-season Tuesday’s start as we recap Kalani Sitake’s weekly press conference. Jake Hatch explains what the loss of Keenan Pili means for the Cougars’ defense and why BYU’s success can be chalked up to Kalani Sitake emulating LaVell Edwards in one key way
- Attention then shifted to the success the Cougars have had, going 19-3 since losing to USF in 2019 and winning 14 of their last 15 games. That success is being noticed and there is a real threat that BYU could lose Kalani Sitake unless they are willing to seize the opportunity to show the architect of their resurgence the love he deserves
- Finally, the podcast wrapped up with notes on the health status of Jaren Hall as it sounds like he should be full-go this weekend along with updates on the BYU women’s golf program and men’s tennis team both in action on Tuesday
