Brian Taylor joined PK and Gordon Monson on Wednesday morning to talk about The 146th Open Championship, which begins tomorrow at Royal Birkdale. He said that this era of golf doesn’t have a transcendent talent and Jordan Spieth reiterated it yesterday. He said this week’s field is open and the winner could be any number of players. He said that The Open Championship does require some experience but also some luck with tee times and weather to become a champion. Taylor said that layout of Royal Birkdale is a fair course for players and should be a solid test as it hosts the tournament for the 10th time.
