Jake’s Blog: Remembering D-day and to drink plenty of fluids
Jake Scott - June 6th, 2014
It is the 70th anniversary of D-day today. Truly the course of human history was altered 70 years ago today. One fact I learned this morning, then President Eisenhower would not commemorate the 10th anniversary of D-day. "Self celebration was mostly alien to the men and women of World War II's "greatest generation," starting with the supreme commander." Check out this twitter account tweeting out news as if D-day were going on today.
Game 1 goes to the Spurs and I for one could not be happier. Here is a theory that Tony is going to hate on the show today, any chance the that the failure of the air conditioning was no accident!? Kind of like when BYU forgets to mow the field for the entire month leading up to a game against Florida State, it's called home field advantage deal with it sucka. Also who ever is running the Gatorade twitter account is dumb, because Lebron was drinking Gatorade.
This is so dumb it's funny.
And the mystery candidate for the Jazz coaching job is... Brad Jones.
James Harden and Kevin Durant are still scarring up chicks together.
Bronco should teach a class on PR called "The Direct Approach": “We would love to be in the Big 12,” Mendenhall said. “I would love to be a member of that conference. I think that would make a lot of sense. In fact, if that was your headline, that would be great.” - The Austin Statesmen. Brian Davis who wrote the article was on the air with David James this morning. Kurt Kragthorpe thinks Bronco is devaluing indepentence.
If you're looking to make a little cash money, play the Big 10.
The UNC academic fraud situation is now out of control. Rashad McCants got a 3.5 and didn't attend one class!
Nope, that is not correct.
Just because it's Friday, here is the Alex Morgan SI swimsuit photo shoot. You're welcome.
