Catcher Chris Snyder left Monday night’s game after getting hit by a foul tip in the groin area. About an hour before Tuesday’s game the Diamondbacks put him on the 15-day disabled list with a left testicular fracture.

Wednesday, Manager Bob Melvin said that Snyder will not have to get surgery.

“The good news today is that he is not going to have to have the surgery,” Melvin said Wednesday afternoon.

Melvin still expects Snyder to be out for a couple of weeks and looks for his return to be after the All-Star break.

“It’s going to take the full 15 days probably, to get him back playing and get him enough at-bats to where he is comfortable coming back,” Melvin said

“His balls are really messed up. the ladies in his life are going to have to take a break for awhile until his boys are ready for action again.” ......... ...............Okay i made that last quote up to see if you were paying attention.......
