OGDEN, Utah—Ryan Rae Smith is the eight-month-old baby girl of Weber State University running back Trevyn Smith. Ryan has been diagnosed with optic-nerve hypoplasia leaving her blind in one eye and nearly blind in the other. The only treatment available for Ryan is in another country and will cost, on average, $50,000 dollars.
We are asking for any donation anyone is willing to give. Ryan will undergo six stem cell treatments and be in China for over a month.
