MWC BASKETBALL POWER POLL (Last Wk Rank; Overall/MWC Record):
9) CSU (5-10; 0-1):  Blown out by TCU in opener. Not any easier Sat hosting BYU.
8) AF (9-5; 0-1): Not a strong opener getting blown out by SDSU at home.     
7) NM (9-7; 0-1): Falls to UTEP 73-60 at home.  MWC loss comes to UNLV by 2 on road.
6) WYO (11-4; 0-1): Blowout loss to Utah was obviously not a strong start to league play.
5) TCU (10-5; 1-0): Gets solid road win last night over Tex Tech 85-80.  Is this the year they are a factor in the MWC.
4) SDSU (11-3; 1-0): No quality non-conf wins losing to both ASU & Arizona.
3) UTAH (10-5; 1-0): Impressive blowout win of LSU as team appears to be playing best basketball yet under Boylen.  That tough non-conf schedule may help in MWC play.
2) BYU (12-2; 0-0): Missed opportunity in two big winnable non-conf games in ASU & WF.  Need really strong showing in MWC play to get higher seed for NCAA Tourney. 
1) UNLV (13-2; 1-0): Only losses to Cal & Cincy with wins over Arizona & Louisville.  Looks like they are geared up for a potential MWC Title run.
